One-on-One Consultation

  • Start by booking a free introductory call. This gives me a chance to understand what you're looking for and determine whether I’m the right fit.

  • No referral is required. You can reach out directly to schedule your intro call.

  • Consultation with me is grounded in clinical psychology and designed for self-aware, high-performing individuals looking to work through internal challenges. It's not therapy, and it’s not coaching—it offers psychological insight and depth, but remains goal-focused and time-limited.

  • We'll discuss your needs, address your questions, and assess whether my services are the next best step. If not, I’ll do my best to refer you to someone who may be a better fit.

  • Sessions are currently offered virtually. This provides greater flexibility, allowing me to work with clients across Ontario.

  • Most clients work with me for 3 to 6 months. Some continue longer, and others finish sooner—it depends on your goals, preferences, and progress.

  • Not at this time. In Ontario, prescribing medication is currently limited to medical doctors, including psychiatrists. However, the provincial government is reviewing the scope of practice for several health professions, including psychology. If approved, psychologists may be able to prescribe certain medications in the future. For now, psychologists can collaborate with your physician or psychiatrist if medication might be helpful.

  • In Ontario, anyone can call themselves a “therapist” and a “psychotherapist” with training in mental health care (e.g., Psychologists, Registered Psychotherapists, Social Workers, Physicians, and Occupational Therapists). Compared to other professionals, psychologists undergo the most rigorous training, which involves completing a Master’s Degree and Doctoral Degree, as well as extensive clinical training in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions.

During graduate school, most trainees accrue more than 1,000 hours of clinical experience, 1,500 hours of experience in residency and additional clinical experience in supervised practice after which they pass licensing examinations to demonstrate their competence in trained areas.

In Ontario, the provision of a diagnosis is a controlled act, and the right is reserved for psychologists, Psychological Associates, and physicians.

  • Topics often include perfectionism in leadership, burnout in high-achieving teams, and how psychological insight can improve performance and resilience. I’m also open to discussing your specific needs.

  • Reach out through the contact form. We’ll schedule a brief consultation to discuss your goals and ensure a good fit.
