Clinical Psychologist & Neuropsychologist

Dr. Khuraman Mamedova is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO). Her clinical training shapes how she listens, assesses, and intervenes — allowing her to work not only with performance goals, but with the psychological and cognitive patterns that support or interfere with sustained effectiveness under pressure.

She works with high-performing professionals, leaders, students in demanding programs, and individuals navigating complex personal and professional environments who want clarity, emotional steadiness, and reliable functioning over time.

Dr. Mamedova completed her Master’s and Doctoral training in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology at York University and brings over a decade of experience across hospital, academic, and private practice settings. Her clinical work has included roles at Brampton Civic Hospital’s Adult Outpatient Unit, Toronto Western Hospital’s Bariatric Surgery Unit, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), including the Gender Identity Clinic and the Complex Care and Recovery Program. She has also practiced at the York University Psychology Clinic and in private practice, providing therapy, assessment, and professional consultation.

This breadth of training allows her to work effectively with individuals managing high levels of responsibility, decision-making under pressure, interpersonal complexity, and internal patterns that affect focus, confidence, and leadership presence. Her approach integrates psychological depth with practical, outcome-relevant work, and therapy is collaborative, discreet, and clinically rigorous.

Dr. Mamedova integrates evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, EFT, Psychodynamic Therapy, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Compassion-Focused Therapy. Treatment is tailored to the individual’s goals, cognitive style, and professional context rather than applied as a one-size-fits-all model.

In addition to therapy, she provides psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological assessments, including evaluations for neurological conditions, concussion, and attention or learning-related concerns.

Dr. Mamedova is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association and provides supervision to psychologists and individuals seeking registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
